Privacy Policy

CHLG is designed around proof-based challenges. That means privacy must be clear. This policy is a template for early-stage projects and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before production launch.

1) Data we may collect

  • Account data: username, email (if you join a waitlist), preferences.
  • Proof content: videos/photos submitted for challenge verification (in-app).
  • Device data: device identifiers, IP address, OS, app version (for security).
  • Wallet info: public wallet addresses (for payouts / on-chain activity).
  • Analytics: page views, clicks, and usage metrics (if enabled).

2) Biometric / sensitive data

Verification features may involve face or motion checks. If biometric processing is used, CHLG will publish clear details (what is processed, why, retention, and opt-outs) before launch.

We recommend an explicit consent flow inside the app for any biometric-related processing.

3) How we use data

  • To operate the app and website and provide core features.
  • To verify challenges and reduce fraud/bot activity.
  • To improve product experience, safety, and performance.
  • To communicate updates (only if you opted in).

4) Sharing & processors

  • We may use service providers (hosting, analytics, email) as processors.
  • We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users from fraud.
  • We do not sell personal information as a business model (recommended stance).

5) Retention

Retention should be minimized: keep proof content only as long as needed for verification, disputes, safety, or legal obligations. Publish exact retention windows before launch.

6) Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Provide a support contact method for requests (recommended).

7) Security

No system is perfectly secure, but CHLG should apply industry-standard protections (access controls, logging, encryption in transit, rate limiting). On-chain data is public by design; treat wallet addresses as pseudonymous identifiers.

Important: CHLG will never ask for your seed phrase. Do not share it with anyone.
